Assistant Professor of Professional Counseling

McKendree University seeks applications for a new tenure track, nine month, assistant professor of counseling position. The candidate selected for this position will (a) teach master’s level counseling courses, (b) assist with the development of curriculum for new counseling specializations (e.g., school counseling, couples/family counseling, etc.) and (c) advise students. Qualifications: doctorate in Counselor Education, experience as a licensed clinical professional counselor or certified school counselor, and evidence of excellence in teaching. Applicants who have completed all requirements except for the dissertation will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates who have graduated from CACREP-accredited programs and those with school counseling experience.
