Assistant Professor of Physical Education

The Department of Physical Education in the Division of Health Professions at McKendree University located in Lebanon, Illinois invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position commencing fall, 2010. Applicants must have a Ph.D. (ABD considered) in Physical Education, Exercise Science, Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or a related field. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in the areas of adapted physical education, kinesiology and ARC First Aid and CPR.  Other duties include advising undergraduate students, and providing service to the division, school and university by participating in research, grant writing, and other scholarly activities.  Public school teaching experience most desirable.
